I have very fair, yellow undertoned, uneven colored, broken capilaries around my nose showing, thin, oily, large pored and blackhead suffering skin. That being said, I always get compliments on my skin, here is why..
I use a moisturizer, another oil preventing moisturizer in the T-zone, Liquid foundation, set it with this Jane iredale PurePressed Base (in radiant) and then apply my shadow, blush, liner, lips and mascara.. whole process takes 30 mins. with the time I spend on my lips and eyes.. This is a for-work ritual.. and I do it daily.
I bought this powder at my spa and decided to try it with no foundation because I was in a hurry to look presentable enough for yard work. DAMN! .. I was shocked..
here is what happen.. I cleansed, dried and applied my moisturizer as normal.. put the powder on with the application pad and more with a brush.. covered my purple sunken eyes (top lid and bottom) with concealer .. blended it with more Jane Iredale. At first my cheeks were still red and i looked uneven.. after 30mins. my skins natural oil mixed with the powder and created a matte finish.. I was a little shocked when i came into the house after being outside, in the sun, sweaty and all. I looked like I do when I go to work.. CRAZY! .. I'm sold!!
FYI, my skin conditions are genetics.. I could get a facial a week and still have issues.. my pores clog themselves! I imagine that there is expensive, movie-star quality things on the market but lets be real. I am not rich! and most of us on Amazon probably arent :) Enjoy!

Cover Girl shadows
Revlon Color Stay foundation (this lasts and lasts!!love it!)
Rimmel lip liner, and I used to use the mineral pressed powder till I found JANE!!

LOVE this foundation! Recommend using it with a makeup brush and lots of Jergins moisturizer.
It feels nice, looks wonderful. I am nearing 40, getting wrinkles and have a lot of uneven skin tones.
My husband loves this on me. It makes me look a lot younger (sometimes I still get carded when buying alcohol and I'm almost 40!)
It doesn't leave lines like liquid foundation did. People can't even tell I'm wearing it because it looks so natural.
My husband sometimes complains that it covers up my freckles too much, but I love this stuff.
I only wished someone had shown it to me sooner! I found it at a beauty spa as I was wondering how the women there stay looking so vibrant and beautiful - I found their secret!!!
If you don't buy ANY other makeup, do spend the extra money on this and a bottle of Jergens lotion.
Buy some eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and you are great to get out of the house - takes under 5 minutes to put all of it on.
(I can apply all this in under 5 minutes with a toddler and a baby crawling all over me!)

This product crumbles when I used it. It doesn't spread very well..... looks caked. Even my husband noticed it was a very inferior product to what I'd been using. (which was the same thing bought here locally) It is very different than the original refill I bought locally. The font & size are different on this case than my original one. (which may or may not mean anything) It obviously isn't going to go as far as the original Jane Iredal Mineral Foundation Refill either. I bought this through Pro Concepts......Disappointing.

This seller is unprincipled and sells either old or substandard products. I bought another Jane Iredale product (Dream Tint) from this seller and when I wrote and told them that it turned my face orange (!) they basically said "too bad"! I've used Jane Iredale for years and never had a problem but this Dream Tint turned orange the minute I put it on -- either it was very old or substandard in some other respect. I see that Luxe Beauty is no longer selling Dream Tint and I'll bet it's because they knew I would write a bad review about them. That is why I had to write my review under this product instead of under Dream Tint.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!

Using for years, always get compliments on my quite flawed skin; powder has great coverage.. I actually mix colors: riveria and warm sienna, in winter warm silk... Love this product and i use their 5$ applicator sponge, worth every dollar and washes w soap and water..

I like that it is healthy for my skin. I use it after Jane Iredale BB cream as a powder and blender. It's a tad light in summer for my light olive skin. But it's a nice and warm, golden color. I hate pink or ashy tones in makeup. I also love the heavy duty compact. I will buy this again but not soon it's going to last me for a long time!

I LOVE Jane Iredale PurePressed Base make-up. It is the only make-up that I will use now. I wear anything from a little make-up (natural look) to a lot of make-up (more dramatic/covered/professional) and either way it always looks great. I have very sensitive skin and this product has never given me any issues...it is wonderful. My dermatologist recommended it.

Having said all of that, I absolutely recommend this product but the trick is figuring out your color. I wear two separate colors depending on the seasons-darker in the summer and lighter in the fall/winter. I just chose poorly with this color--it is waaay too dark for me. This color is probably for someone with naturally tan skin all year round. (I am more fair skin in the winter but I am able to get a nice color in the summer depending on how much I am in the sun. I am sticking with the suntan color for the summer.)
